Meet J Merino
I've been telling wedding stories
for more than two decades.
I’m J Merino — a photographer, filmmaker and storyteller who has been documenting weddings since 2004. I’ve watched cameras change, styles change and wedding trends come and go. The part I still care about most hasn’t changed: making images and films that bring you back to what the day actually felt like.
My approach is simple. I’ll step in and direct when a photograph needs it, then get out of the way when real life takes over. I want you spending your wedding with the people you love — not performing for my camera all day.
J Merino Weddings is growing, and I work with a trusted creative team when a wedding calls for it. But for now, the vision, communication and final look are still led by me. My name is on it, and I want the work to feel like it.
